I met a few inspiring people this last week as I begin a new chapter in my life.

I met Rob randomly when I was helping out my brother in his place of business.

We began speaking about our past and shared our thoughts about trending topics  within our local area. While we were talking, I thought to myself how refreshing it was to hear someone else want to do something nice without recognition.

He spoke highly of the teachers his daughter, Tanqueray, had in her elementary school.  Before Tanqueray transitioned into middle school, he wanted to do something thoughtful because these individuals have become family members over the years.

Meeting an individual who thought of others instead of themselves made my heart melt. So much, I had to write about it.

One passion of mine is education and the impact educators make within our lives. I played the role of teaching once and it was exhausting. The experience helped me understand why teachers do the things they do.

In my personal opinion, good teachers should be acknowledged for their efforts because it is not an easy job. There is so many variables to consider when preparing a lesson for class. Not to mention, the amount of patience needed to fulfill their duties.

My path would have been different without the educators helping me in my life.
